The kid in me goes crazy for stuff like this. Look at that picture! It’s like you could just step out and have nice walk… ON THE FACE OF MARS!
The rovers Spirit and Opportunity, both launched in 2003, are long past their expiration date and continue to amaze. Both were intended to last 3 months and both are still operational SIX FUCKING YEARS LATER! Fucking awesome.
